MTV EUROPE MUSIC AWARDS 2009

MTV Europe Music Awards 2009 berlangsung di Berlin, Jerman pada hari Jumat, 6 November pukul 08.00 WIB. Host oleh Katy Perry. Nominasi secara resmi diumumkan pada tanggal 21 September 2009. Ini adalah keempat kalinya bahwa MTV Europe Music Awards yang diselenggarakan di Jerman. Nominasi untuk penghargaan regional diumumkan pada 1 September 2009. Pete Wentz adalah tuan rumah untuk 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards webcast, yang menampilkan backstage gosip, wawancara dan banyak lagi.

Meskipun dipandang sebagai penghargaan Eropa premier event musik beberapa seniman Eropa telah menerima nominasi dalam kategori kunci. Mayoritas nominasi adalah seniman Amerika, beberapa negara Eropa yang mendominasi dalam kategori utama termasuk Inggris Raya, Republik Irlandia, Perancis dan Jerman.

The 2009 MTV Europe Music Awards logo dan promo dirancang secara in-house oleh MTV Dunia Desain Studio di Milan dan Buenos Aires dengan masukan tambahan oleh perusahaan desain grafis Swedia Kungen & Hertigen.
